Welcome to the IFDO website. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the IFDO website, membership programmes, Working Groups and events. By accessing our website or becoming a member, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About IFDO

IFDO (International Federation of Digital Oncology) is a professional federation advancing digital innovation and AI in oncology through collaboration among clinicians, researchers, technologists, institutions and industry partners. Registered address: B-38, 3rd Floor, Greater Kailash 1, New Delhi 110048, India.

2. Eligibility

Our website and general content are open to all visitors. Membership requires substantial experience in oncology, or a demonstrable strong interest in contributing to the oncology ecosystem, per the eligibility criteria on our Membership page.

3. Membership

  • Current fee: INR 6,000 (India) or USD 62 (outside India), valid for 3 years from application acceptance — as published on the Membership page, subject to change with reasonable notice.
  • Membership fees are non-refundable except as otherwise stated at the time of purchase or as required by law.
  • Applications are reviewed by the Membership Committee; IFDO reserves the right to approve, decline or revoke membership at its discretion, including for misrepresentation or misconduct.
  • Review and onboarding typically take 7–10 days from submission.

4. Working Groups

Working Groups are collaborative, member-driven initiatives. Participation is voluntary, and members are expected to engage constructively and in good faith. IFDO does not guarantee any specific outcome, funding or commercial result from Working Group activity.

5. Intellectual property

  • All content on this website is owned by IFDO or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property law, unless otherwise stated.
  • You may view and share content for personal, non-commercial, educational purposes, provided you don’t modify it and credit IFDO as the source.
  • Intellectual property created through Working Group activity (papers, standards, tools) will be governed by separate IP and licensing guidelines, to be published once finalised.
  • If you submit content to us (for example via a member wiki or publication), you retain ownership but grant IFDO a non-exclusive licence to host, display and distribute it in connection with our mission, unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.

6. Not medical advice

Content on this website is provided for informational and professional-education purposes only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for independent clinical judgement. Any AI tools or algorithms referenced are not to be used for direct patient diagnosis or treatment without independent validation and regulatory clearance.

7. User conduct

You agree not to: violate applicable law; infringe others’ intellectual property or privacy rights; share false, misleading or harmful content; attempt unauthorised access to our systems; or use IFDO’s name or platform for unauthorised commercial solicitation.

8. Third-party links and partners

Our website may link to third-party websites or reference partner organisations. IFDO does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, policies or practices.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Our website and content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, IFDO is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of our website, membership or programmes.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IFDO, its officers, members and Working Group co-leads from claims, damages or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of our website or programmes.

11. Termination

IFDO may suspend or terminate your membership, Working Group participation or website access at its discretion, including for breach of these Terms, without obligation to refund fees except as required by law.

12. Governing law

The governing law and jurisdiction for these Terms will be stated here once IFDO’s legal registration is finalised.
